Shipping Policy

Order Confirmation:

Once your order is placed with us you will receive a notification and confirmation email with all your order details. If you receive your confirmation email that means our system has properly processed your purchase and has pre-authorized your credit card. We will then submit your order to our transit team to reach out to our supplier and/or warehouse manager to ensure that your item is still in stock for immediate packaging and shipping. If for some reason your item happens to be out of stock or on backorder, we will void the pre-authorization and reach out to you via e- mail.  If the backorder item(s) for your order become available for shipping within 9 days, we will process the charges and submit the order for shipment.

Shipment process:

Upon receiving your order, we will verify the stock level of your item and proceed with processing your card within 5 days from the date of your order. Once the tracking numbers are available, we will issue those to you via email to the email you provided at the time of your purchase. If for some reason you do not receive the tracking information from our team within 8 days of your order, do not hesitate to reach out to us at info@newdayfurniture.com. 

When will my order arrive:

To provide you with the greatest selection on the internet, we ship from various warehouses from across the country. Each lead time varies and depends on different factors, but in general, your order will be processed to ship out within 5-11 business days. Freight/Ground shipments delivery usually takes between 7 to 16 days from the time your orders ships.  If your order is a custom-made or special order product, it will be shipped between 2BD and 160BD.

Shipping Method – Ground (smaller items)

Standard shipping method is ground shipping with FedEx or UPS. Delivery signature is not required for ground shipments. The carrier will leave the package in the normal delivery place for your address. You may go to FedEx or UPS website to track your shipment. Its up to you, the customer, to inspect your delivery for any damages.

If your purchase consists of multiple items from different manufacturers, your order will ship from different warehouses and may ship on different dates. We will email you all the tracking information associated with your shipment once the item ships from the warehouse. If your order contains multiple ground shipments, then they may ship with a Freight carrier based on the number of items and weight.

Shipping Method – Freight

Standard shipping method for large / heavy items is with a freight carrier. You will be provided with the freight carrier’s website to track your shipment. A signature is required for all freight shipments, and you will need to be present during your delivery time window. For residential deliveries, the freight carrier will contact you to schedule a delivery date. If you are purchasing multiple items from different manufacturers, your order will ship from different warehouses and may ship on different days. We will email you all the tracking associated with your shipment.

Freight shipments will be delivered to your porch, garage or the first dry area but not inside the building. If you would like any other service, for example, push-through-front-door service, this would be an additional cost and you will need to contact us prior to placing your order.

In the case your item cannot be delivered and requires to be held in storage for the following reasons but is not limited to: 

-Wrong address or the contact information provided to Newday Furniture is incorrect
-Away from residence and you are not able to accept delivery 

You will have 5 business days to respond to the carrier or contact us to reschedule delivery (some fees may apply). After this time frame has elapsed and no delivery has been scheduled the order will be returned and refunded under our Return Policy. 

Delivery Terms

At time of delivery, buyers are responsible for the following delivery conditions:

The driver will require the buyer or his or her representative to sign a physical inspection report or a delivery receipt. It is critical that the buyer or the representative notes on the delivery receipt any damages to the box before the inspect the product and accept shipment. If the box shows any signs of carrier mishandling: hole(s), crushed corners, dents, worn tops, bottoms or edges, scraping, dirt etc., the buyer or representative must note the exact description of each carton on the physical inspection report and or delivery receipt.

Once the buyer or representative notes the condition of the box(s) they should inspect the product. If upon further inspection, the buyer or representative notices major or unacceptable levels of damage to the product, they can then sign the delivery receipt and/or physical inspection report “REFUSED DAMAGE” and give a detailed description of damage uncovered. Buyer must then call Newday Furniture customer service (844-407-3529) within 24 hours to make us aware of the situation. In the event that a suitable replacement is not available, a refund will be issued.

Upon delivery, if you notice any damage to the box/item you must note this on the delivery receipt and contact us immediately at info@newdayfurniture.com.

Concealed Damage:

It is the buyer’s full responsibility to thoroughly inspect an item before signing and accepting delivery. If damage is discovered after signing for delivery without any notation, the buyer will be responsible for any replacement or returns.
