Return & Refund Policy

Return Policy

Return policy varies between brands. Each brand return policy is listed below. Please be aware that when you choose to return an item, an actual one-way freight charge will be deducted from your refund. A one-way freight charge will also be applied to promotional reduced or free shipping items. 

All returns require prior authorization or a Return Authorization Number (RMA) from Newday Furniture in advance before your return is accepted. Furniture that has been assembled or used cannot be accepted. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. All returns must arrive at our warehouse in its original condition. If this condition is not met, additional fees will apply and will be deducted from your credit card. Please note that unless the return or exchange is a result of an error on our part, we cannot credit shipping or handling charges.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

In certain rare cases, if your item or items arrive damage or defective simply note any damages upon delivery and contact us immediately at info@newdayfurniture.com. If your item(s) do arrive damaged, please send photos to info@newdayfurniture.com. Please note, in most cases, if your item was shipped by freight and freight only claims of defective merchandise must be made against the carrier. Please remember, the sooner we are notified of any damages to your products the less stressful it will be for you.

Special order products such as items with pre-selected fabrics/finishes/colors are non-refundable. Made to Order product as indicted by their extended lead time are also non-refundable.

NOTE: If your shipment has not been received by the date provided by the carrier, please contact Newday Furniture immediately so we can look into this matter.

 

ACME Furniture Shipment and Return Policy

NOTE FROM THE RETAILER, NEWDAY FURNITURE: REQUESTED REFUNDS ARE ISSUED MINUES SHIPPING TO THE CUSTOMER AND THE RETURN SHIPPING FROM THE CUSTOMER. EXCHANGES ARE ISSUED MINUS THE SHIPPING CHARGE FOR THE RETURNED PRODUCT. THE NEW PRODUCT WILL SHIP FREE. ALSO, RETURNS/EXCHANGES ARE NIMUS THE RETOCKING CHARGES LISTED BELOW. REFUNDS FOR ANY REASON ARE ISSUED UPON RECEIPT OF THE PROUCT OR WHEN THE RETAILER RECEIVED THE CLAIMS REFUND FROM THE CARRIER.

  • Claims for detective merchandise must be packed in ACME Furniture Original Boxes. Claims for defects or missing parts must be made to the retailer within 14 days of shipment (earlier if possible, to allow time to compete paperwork). After 14 days, there will be no service agreement. No Exception.
  • Pictures are required to claim defective merchandise and must be sent to the retailer with receipt.
  • We will not accept any exchanges or returns on any used, previously displayed, or assembled merchandise.
  • There will be a 20%-30% re-stocking fee for all returned items upon inspection. 20% (good, resaleable condition in original packaging). 30% (good, reusable condition w/o original packaging
  • Claims for merchandise damaged in transit must be made through the freight carrier. Contact the retailer immediately so paperwork can be completed. Before signing the freight bill of lading, please inspect all boxes for damages. (Note: Please make sure the carrier signs the freight bill of lading for any damages).
  • All return shipment are paid by the customer.
  • There will be no cash refund. Credit only.
  • In the event a product does not satisfy these requirements, a credit will not be issued
  • If the customer receive the incorrect item due to a shipping error on ACME'S part, ACME will be responsible for the return freight. The piece must be in its original carton.

Alpine Furniture Shipment and Return Policy

NOTE FROM THE RETAILER, NEWDAY FURNITURE: REQUESTED REFUNDS ARE ISSUED MINUES SHIPPING TO THE CUSTOMER AND THE RETURN SHIPPING FROM THE CUSTOMER. EXCHANGES ARE ISSUED MINUS THE SHIPPING CHARGE FOR THE RETURNED PRODUCT. THE NEW PRODUCT WILL SHIP FREE. ALSO, RETURNS/EXCHANGES ARE NIMUS THE RETOCKING CHARGES LISTED BELOW. REFUNDS FOR ANY REASON ARE ISSUED UPON RECEIPT OF THE PROUCT OR WHEN THE RETAILER RECEIVED THE CLAIMS REFUND FROM THE CARRIER.

Claims for defects or missing parts must be made to the retailer within 14 days of shipment (earlier if possible, to allow time to compete paperwork). After 14 days, there will be no service agreement. No Exception.
  • Pictures are required to claim defective merchandise and must be sent to the retailer right away.
  • We will not accept any exchanges or returns on any used, previously displayed, or assembled merchandise.
  • Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable, unless the item is defective, damaged or incorrect
  • On a Buyer’s Remorse return, the item must be in its original carton. There is no restocking fee, but credit will not be issued until the item is inspected and deemed to be in a saleable condition.
  • Claims for merchandise damaged in transit must be made through the freight carrier. Contact the retailer immediately so paperwork can be completed. Before signing the freight bill of lading, please inspect all boxes for damages. (Note: Please make sure the carrier signs the freight bill of lading for any damages).
  • All return shipment are paid by the customer.
  • There will be no cash refund. Credit only.
  • In the event a product does not satisfy these requirements, a credit will not be issued
  • If the customer receive the incorrect item due to a shipping error on Alpine’s part, Alpine will be responsible for the return freight. The piece must be in its original carton.

 Butler Specialty Shipment and Return Policy

Furniture of America Shipment & Return Policy

 J&M Furniture Shipping & Return Policy

EXCHANGES ARE ISSUED MINUS THE SHIPPING CHARGE FOR THE RETURNED PRODUCT. THE NEW PRODUCT WILL SHIP FREE. ALSO, RETURNS/EXCHANGES ARE NIMUS THE RETOCKING CHARGES LISTED BELOW. REFUNDS FOR ANY REASON ARE ISSUED UPON RECEIPT OF THE PROUCT OR WHEN THE RETAILER RECEIVED THE CLAIMS REFUND FROM THE CARRIER.

Returns:

  • There is a 48 hours claim for damage products only. Claims for defective merchandise must be packed in J&M Furniture Original Boxes in its original packaging with no sign of use, wear or damage.  All return shipment are paid by the customer.
  • There will be a 25% restocking fee on all returns that were shipped correct and in good condition. Return authorization must be obtained from J&M Furniture no later that 48 hours after receipt of merchandise.
  • Pictures are required to claim defective merchandise and must be sent to the retailer right away.
  • We will not accept any exchanges or returns on any used, previously displayed, or assembled merchandise.
  • Claims for merchandise damaged in transit must be made through the freight carrier. Contact the retailer immediately so paperwork can be completed. Before signing the freight bill of lading, please inspect all boxes for damages. (Note: Please make sure the carrier signs the freight bill of lading for any damages).
  • There will be no cash refund. Credit only
  • Special order dates are not guaranteed. A 50% deposit will be needed to initialize a special order. Special orders cannot be canceled for any reason. The 50% deposit is not refundable since we do not regularly stock the item you are special ordering.
  • Transportation for replacement orders are sole responsibility of the buyer. Item will be at no cost to the buyer. Replacement parts request must be done within 10 business days.

Winsome Wood Shipment & Return Policy

EXCHANGES ARE ISSUED MINUS THE SHIPPING CHARGE FOR THE RETURNED PRODUCT. THE NEW PRODUCT WILL SHIP FREE. ALSO, RETURNS/EXCHANGES ARE NIMUS THE RETOCKING CHARGES LISTED BELOW. REFUNDS FOR ANY REASON ARE ISSUED UPON RECEIPT OF THE PROUCT OR WHEN THE RETAILER RECEIVED THE CLAIMS REFUND FROM THE CARRIER.

Returns:

  • All returns requires Return Authorization Number (RMA) from Newday Furniture before returns can be processed
  • Claims for defects or missing parts must be made to the retailer within 14 days of shipment (earlier if possible, to allow time to compete paperwork). After 14 days, there will be no service agreement. No Exception.
  • Pictures are required to claim defective merchandise and must be sent to the retailer right away.
  • We will not accept any exchanges or returns on any used, previously displayed, or assembled merchandise.
  • There will be a 30% restocking fee on all returns that were shipped correct and in good condition.
  • Claims for merchandise damaged in transit must be made through the freight carrier. Contact the retailer immediately so paperwork can be completed. Before signing the freight bill of lading, please inspect all boxes for damages. (Note: Please make sure the carrier signs the freight bill of lading for any damages).
  • All return shipment are paid by the customer.

Non-returnable items: 

-Assembled and/or Modified items or out of original packaging
-Custom made or special-order items (Example: fabric changes)
-Items without original packaging
-Clearance, Open Box & Scratch/Dent purchases  

Late or missing refunds 

If you have not received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

If you have done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at info@newdayfurniture.com. 

Cancellations:

 Please be aware that orders can only be canceled within 24 hours. If your shipment is en-route to your location or if you refused an order, it would fall under our standard return policy which, as stated above, is subject to a deduction of a one-way shipping cost as well as a 15%-25%  restocking fee from your refund. An order cancellation before shipment must be in order. This does not mean your order has not shipped. You must receive an acknowledgement from us confirming the cancellation. Made to order items, special orders and custom orders may not be canceled after 24 hours.

Cancellation requests are sent directly to the manufacturer. Cancellation requests are not accepted on items that are special orders, that has been shipped or is being prepared for shipment. If an item is refused at delivery, it will be considered a return and credit will be issued back to your original payment method minus restocking fees and shipping charges. Note, all items are shipped directly from the manufacturers warehouse and if we do not have tracking at the time you requested cancellation, this does not mean your order has not shipped.

 Production Description:

Newday Furniture does not warrant that product descriptions or other site content is error-free. If a product is listed at an incorrect price or is presented with incorrect information due to error in tying or error in pricing or product information received from our manufacturers and distributors, Newday Furniture reserves the right to refuse or cancel any furniture orders placed at incorrect prices. Newday Furniture has the right to refuse or cancel any such orders regardless of whether the order has been confirmed and/or processed to your credit card. 

Because our furniture is constructed using natural materials (including wood, granite, marble, etc.) and natural finishes, it is common for there to be variances between the pictures on our website and the actual product delivered. We do our best to accurately show the finish product colors of each piece we carry; however, colors can vary by personal perceptions, monitor type and age, video card differences, and printing variations. The variance in natural color makes each item unique and is not a justification to cancel or grounds for a return. Lastly, please note that all product and policy information presented on our website, www.newdayfurniture.com, and in written correspondence supersedes all phone conversations.
